Dependent Child Student Visa

Children aged 5–17 years can apply for a Dependent Child Student Visa if the supporting parent holds an Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV) at skill level 1–3. For parents that are separated, they must have full custody and written consent from the other parent to remove the child from their country.

Requirements

Aged 5–17 and the child of an AEWV holder, child of a partnership based work visa holder, or child of an eligible student visa holder
INZ processing time: 2–8 weeks
Government application fee: $750 NZD
Family visa applications can be lodged together at the same time
