Accredited Employer Work visa

The Accredited Employer Work Visa enabled skilled workers to work in New Zealand for an accredited employer, streamlining the visa application process for both employers and employees. It provides overseas applicants the right to work for the accredited employer in New Zealand for typically up to three years, and up to 5 years.

Requirements:

  • Must work for an accredited employer who has offered at least 30 hours a week contract
  • Must be suitable qualified by work experience or qualification to do the job.
  • If paid below the median wage, are not subject to stand down period.
  • The employer has a Job Check number that has not been used to approve another Accredited Employer work visa application.
  • Can include partner and dependent in a separate application.
  • Must meet health and character requirements.
